I must say, I’ve fallen in love with Puerto Rico. I’ve come to love the beauty of the land and the indomitable character of its people. Largely poor by our economic standards, Puerto Ricans are truly rich in spirit. In the midst of hardship, life still flourishes – a testament to both its resilience and preciousness.
Many of us depart from our daily Scrooge-like ways to love just a little better over the holidays, and doing so inevitably brings us joy and for a time makes the world a better place. But it doesn’t take long for us to get back to business as usual.
“The Judas Syndrome” is not just another book on character but a testament to the power of faith to save us from our baser selves and transform our lives.
We face many tests of character during our lifetime. And each test provides an opportunity to be better and stronger. During times of trial, our faith can be greatly instrumental in helping us become the person we want to be.
